St. Eulalia Job Corner All of us have experienced the effects of the economic downturn in our country. Who doesn’t know a person who is unemployed or looking for work? We as a Parish community are responding and supporting our parishioners. We post opportunities that are sent to us weekly. Here is a sample of what you might find:
You can contribute “hot tips” by calling Sister Joan Mary at 708-343-6120x-25. Bring a friend to Church with you and help them look through the available jobs. They’ll be so grateful you cared so much.
ARE YOU NEW TO ST. EULALIA's? Each Sunday we see some wonderful new faces in our midst. We look and try to figure out who is visiting for the summer and who is "Checking us out" ! You will find the St. Eulalia Church Community a warm and welcoming group. At the ahnshake of peace, you are encouraged to move about amoung us and meet some of our parishioners. They are friendly and eager to make your acquaintance and will easily answer questions you migh have after the liturgy. Another great quality of our parishioners is their dedication and desire to work together for the good of the parish. They love this parish and this is show man times over by their volunteer service that they give in decorating, cleaning, and fundraising for St. Eulalia. Feel free to pick up a parish registration at the back of church. Fill it out and drop it in the collection basket or stop by the Parish House at 9th & Lexington Avenues (1851 9th Avenue). The parish office opens each day from 8:30-5. The office staff are availbale and are there to help and assist you. Perhaps you have a talent to share with us---don't be shy, a great parish community needs great persons just like you!
