Catholic Campaign for Immigration Reform

(Archdiocesan Office for Peace and Justice)

Justice for Immigrants!...a journey of hope
To keep families together...For a safer country...For the dignity of all immigrants

Our current immigration system is broken and bad laws are hurting good people. We now have millions of undocumented immigrants who work, pay taxes, and contribute to our country, but are living in the shadows and afraid to speak out. Families are being separated and precious law enforcement resources are being squandered.

For these reasons, the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops' Committee on Migration supports the Kennedy-McCain proposal (Secure America and Orderly Immigration Act of 2005). This legislative proposal best reflects principles for immigration reform set forth by the United States bishops.

Join the US Catholic conference of Bishops in supporting this act by TAKING ACTION for a realistic solution to enhance border security that includes:

A path to reunify families
A worker program that values the dignity of workers with proper protection
A path to citizenship for undocumented workers who are contributing to our country
