The St. Eulalia music program strives to foster community participation in the liturgy through sung prayer. We will draw from the music of the ancient Church through the music of today's liturgical composers and celebrate the ethnic diversity of the Parish. We subsribe to the teaching of St. Augustine: "He who sings, prays twice."
The Adult Choir sings at all 11 a.m. liturgies, special liturgies and services (Holy Thursday, Good Friday, Taize). They rehearse on Sunday mornings at 10 a.m and after the 11 a.m. Mass. For a schedule or more information, please call the Parish House or stop by after Mass.
The choir consists of 15 WONDERFUL volunteers who give their time and talent to lead the Assembly of God in worship through song. They have worked extremely hard for the past nine months, rehearsing both before and after Mass and giving up several weeknights for extra rehearsals. The choir will take a summer hiatus, returning the weekend after Labor Day.
Don't want to sing? Think you can't? Break out those high school instruments (flutes, violins, clarinets, trumpets, etc.) and come play! We'll provide the sheet music; you provide the instrument!
Thank you for all of your heartfelt support.
